 What is a High Frequency Facial?

  • It eliminates and prevents acne as it has a germicidal and bacterial effect.

  • Shrinks enlarged pores – with regular use the gentle spray of oxygen molecules produced by high frequency diminish enlarged pores by penetrating deep down in the root of the affected area and cleaning out debris and toxins allowing the pore to quickly regain its natural size once again.

 How Does It Work?

  • The high frequency produces low-level electrical currents at high frequencies.

  • The high-frequency electrodes are made of clear tempered glass. When this electrode is firmly inserted into the high-frequency handpiece, a gentle alternating current is generated by the high-frequency machine which passes through the attached electrode on contact with the skin. The gas electrode is filled with argon or neon gas.

  • The High Frequency has a germicidal and anti-bacterial effect on the skin heeling acne.

 What To Expect When Having A Treatment…

  • The skin will be cleansed with an Acne cleanser to ensure it is grease-free.

  • The skin is further prepped so it is receptive to the electrical treatment.

  • An exfoliation treatment will be carried out using a Vitamin C activation scrub.

  • The high-frequency treatment will be carried out using a glass electrode for 8-10 minutes.

  • An Oxygenating Mask will be applied to the skin.

  • The treatment is finished off with an Acne serum and oil-free moisturiser.

  • This treatment can be combined with other acne treatments such as Agera Skin Peels and IPL Acne treatments.
